I'm going to try to be good about doing a regular updates post each month (and a regular what I've been reading post too) to keep you informed about what's going on in my writing world. I will do my best to keep to that resolution!
So, first, news about The Scholar's Heart. The big cover reveal was on Monday at Love Bytes (if you missed it, go here), and I'm so happy to have been able to finally share the cover with you. I've had it for about a month and I absolutely adore it, so it's been tough keeping it under wraps! I hope you love it as much as I do (though I'm not sure you could - I seriously love that cover!). The Scholar's Heart will be out on May 30th, and it's available now for preorder at Dreamspinner in ebook and paperback. As soon as it's available at other retailers, I'll post those links for you here on the book page and on Facebook and Twitter. The blog tour will begin on May 23rd, and there will be lots of posts and excerpts and a giveaway, so stay tuned for that. I'm working on the posts for the tour now, and if anyone has any questions they'd like me to answer or something they'd like me to talk about on the tour, please let me know. I'll do my best to answer your questions (spoilers permitting).
What about actual writing, you ask? I'm working on the contemporary project I mentioned in my last update post. It's going a bit slower than I'd like, but I'll get there. I think need to know these characters little better, and then the story will start moving. I'm also working on Tournai 5, I think I mentioned. Usually I only work on one manuscript at a time so I know I'll finish in a somewhat timely fashion, but lots of ideas are flowing for Tournai 5 so I'm working on it more than I planned right now. I'm okay with that, though, because I'm excited to write that story too.
Mostly I just can't believe at this point that The Scholar's Heart will be out in less than a month.
